Riverside Agents: What They Mean for Product Videos
Riverside Agents are four AI agents that prep, edit, clip and post recorded video, with nothing published until you approve it. Here is what they do, what Riverside says about plans and credits, and where a product walkthrough still needs more.
Riverside Agents are four AI agents, named Producer, Editor, Clipper and Marketer, that Riverside announced on 26 October 2026. They prepare a recording session, edit the episode, cut clips for social and draft the posts, and nothing goes live until you approve it. For B2B tech marketers they fit recorded talks, webinars and podcasts. A product walkthrough still needs real screen footage and a script.
What Riverside Agents are
The launch post on Riverside's blog, written by CEO and co-founder Nadav Keyson, presents the agents as a production team built only for video. Riverside's agents page says each one runs on Riverside's own AI and works with its existing tools for conversations and talking-head video. The press release Riverside published through Podnews on 27 October 2026 describes the four roles:
- Producer gets the session ready before recording: interview questions, talking points, scenes, layouts and branding.
- Editor turns the full recording into a finished episode. It suggests where to tighten and which moment is the hook, takes direction on what stays, and adds layouts, B-roll, motion graphics, audio polish, captions and branding.
- Clipper finds moments worth sharing and turns each one into a finished clip. The launch post says it hands each clip to the Marketer with a suggested destination.
- Marketer writes the post copy, makes thumbnails, plans where each clip runs, and posts or schedules it once you approve.
The release says the agents use Riverside's editing tools for conversation video, such as removing pauses and filler words. According to both the launch post and the release, they learn your preferences and editing style over time.
How approval works
The agents start work without being asked. The launch post says the Clipper flags clip candidates and the Editor drafts a cut plan before you have reviewed the recording. According to the release, you can finish recording, step away and come back to drafted edits, clips and posts.
Publishing stays with you. The launch post says "Nothing goes out without your sign-off." The agents page adds that you can step in at any point, change anything, or keep any step manual. Because the agents run in the cloud, you can review and approve clips from your phone, according to the release.
Plans, platforms and credits
The Podnews release says Riverside Agents are on web and mobile across all Riverside plans, with some capabilities depending on the plan tier. It does not say which ones. The launch post says the rollout is on web and iOS and does not mention Android.
The agents page says features that run on AI credits, such as video enhancement, still use credits when an agent applies them. It also offers a 14-day free trial of Riverside. None of the three Riverside pages gives a separate price for the agents. Riverside Agents also went up on Product Hunt, where the listing was marked as launching on 1 November 2026.
What an editing agent does well for B2B teams
Plenty of B2B video starts as a conversation: a webinar, a customer interview, a founder podcast, a recorded conference talk. After the recording, the work is mostly repetitive. Someone trims pauses and filler, adds captions and branding, picks the clips, writes post copy and schedules it. Riverside says its agents take on each of those steps.
If your team already records in Riverside, the agents remove much of that queue, and the approval step keeps a person in charge of what gets published. That person still has to read each clip for what it claims once it is cut out of context, especially when a speaker talks about product capabilities or numbers.
Where product walkthroughs need more
A product walkthrough shows a buyer that a real task works in the real product: the menu path, the settings, the result. Its raw material is screen footage of the product and a script that follows a path someone has checked. Riverside describes its agents in terms of conversations and talking-head video. None of the Riverside pages listed below describes operating a software product or checking a result on screen.
An editing agent can tighten a screen recording you give it. It cannot know whether the click path is still current or whether the result on screen is correct. Somebody has to plan the task, run it on the product, record it and verify the outcome. Walkthroughs also go stale when the interface changes; keeping product videos current after each release covers that problem.
Editing agent or done-for-you service
An editing agent such as Riverside Agents makes sense when:
- you already record conversations or talks in Riverside
- someone on the team can review drafts and approve posts
- the goal is more clips and posts from recordings you already have
A done-for-you service makes more sense when:
- the video has to show your software doing a specific task
- nobody on the team has time to script, record and check a walkthrough
- you need proof that the result shown really happened in the product
- you need the same video in more than one language
The two can sit side by side. A webinar can go through Riverside while the product segment comes from a recorded, checked walkthrough. Agency vs in-house vs AI for SaaS video compares the wider options.
Where any2.video fits
any2.video makes verified product walkthroughs. An operator runs a real task on the real product, checks the result against evidence the product produced, and keeps the failed attempts in the record. Delivery takes about two days. Our pricing page lists $6 per finished minute for a designed video, $10 for a rendered one and $15 for a live walkthrough. An extra language track adds $2 per minute, and the first sample, one product and one task, is free.
What a verified walkthrough proves lists the questions to ask any video vendor, us included.
